We worked super hard on Monday and Tuesday to get ahead in school and get some projects done so we could go see Thomas perform in Oklahoma! at SVU. It’s his first college performance and we couldn’t wait.

While I mowed along the fence line up on the driveway, Kaitlyn and Makenna made a cute run for our chicks to play in!

Crocuses were at their prime this week!

Trip to Lexington, VA

We drove up to see Thomas perform and got to do some site-seeing too. First we stopped for a picnic lunch in Roanoke along a river and old mill.

Then we went to a train museum.

Also saw Stonewall Jackson’s grave and went to a fun nature playground with mud kitchen, life size birdhouse, and more!

Loved swimming in the hotel pool and hanging out in our room.

Thomas in “Oklahoma!”

We loved his play!! All the actors and actresses were so talented! We were amazed. It was fun crocheting while waiting for it to start and during intermission. And just hanging out together, being at a play. The next day we hung out with Thomas, went to a devotional and class with him, and then drove back home. It was a wonderful trip!
