Last days with Madalyn and Alexis. We sure love it when they came home. They played doctor with the little kids, sang around the piano, and hung out in the kitchen with me.
Tilly and Maddie have been doing treasure hunts the past 2 months Maddie has been here. So they did their final one and enjoyed finding lots of shiny treasures. In the evenings Maddie, Lexi, Kait and Kenna hung out and ate popcorn, read (or talked about their books) and occasionally watched funny things online. I treasured those evenings and didn’t want the college girls to leave.
When all the kids come home twice a year we love to measure how tall everyone is on the wall. Makenna is about to pass me up!
Before the girls left for their flight they had to say goodbye to Thomas for 2 years.
Saying good-bye at the airport is always so hard. I love my college girls so much. I love it when they’re home to keep me company, help me make decisions, hang out with the younger kids, and help me with my business.
Checking on the garden in late August. Feel like we’ve been working on it forever and are getting tired of it! But it’s still producing great and we have a couple more months to go.
Saturday Naomi’s brothers were up this way from Florida. Thomas finished the obstacle course and we were all able to try it out. It’s so cool!!
