June 2026: Holladay Family Reunion

Nathan’s parents celebrated their 50th anniversary this year by having a big family reunion in the mountains of Georgia. It was Monday through Saturday but some family members came mid-week and others left mid-week, so usually there were around 40 people there. But the most was 54! We went Tuesday through Saturday and had a great time.

There was a great big main cabin or lodge where we cooked and ate meals, played games, sang around the piano, and did the talent show. There was a nice lake with water trampoline and watercraft to play on anytime we wanted. And then there was a fun waterslide too!

Waterslide

I didn’t take many pictures, so it’s best to watch the video with various kids zooming down the slide. It was so fun though! It was only open for an hour each afternoon when the lifeguard was there, but we sure made the most of it. Check out the vlog!

Hanging Out!

Here are the pictures: Tilly being tucked in on the top of a triple bunk bed in the bunk houses. Eight of my kids eating dinner the first day. Spencer and Kylie came the next day.

Playing games with cousins. Kylie and Tilly, my oldest and youngest.

Activities!

We had a lot of free time to enjoy the lake, piano, ping pong, pool table, games, puzzles, and chatting. But there were also some schedule activities like sack races, three-legged races, a campfire with Grandma’s stories, talent show, anniversary party with limbo, and a dance. It was all super fun. I didn’t take great pictures, but the vlog is amazing. You have to watch it!

All the boy cousins from ages 6 to 12, plus three teenage boy cousins hanging out behind them. I thought it was cool there were so many in a row. For the girls Tilly is the only one in that age range. The rest are boys! Her closest girl cousins are 1 and 13. (She’s 8.)

Family Photos

We took a lot of family photos, but these are the only ones I have right now so these are the ones I’ll post.
