Six kids spent the week in Florida while I stayed home, took care of the garden, yard, chickens, and house. I also worked on my business as much as possible. In the evenings when I was burnt out of working I would work on Tilly’s mud kitchen. It was a lot of fun.
Every morning I worked in the garden for an hour or two, watering, looking for squash bugs, weeding, trimming around the kiwi plants, anything! There is always stuff to do. I enjoyed listening to podcasts as I worked and feeling the cool morning air.
The peppers and peas are looking great!!
Everyday for lunch I had a salad from our lettuce, arugula, spinach, purple lettuce, and radish from the garden. I added a hard boiled duck egg, black beans, chicken strip, carrots and avocado. It was the most nourishing salad I ever ate! Just wish I had some raw milk to go with it. One afternoon I spent 2 hours picking up green walnuts while editing a video and filled up 2 five gallon buckets.

Kids in Florida
The kids had a great time staying and Grandma and Peepaw’s house. They got to go to the beach one day, ride in Uncle Devon’s Tesla, and help paint his kitchen. They had lots of cousin time and got to take a break from all the chores around here. Thomas drove them the 10 hours there and 10 hours back and they made great time each trip. It was all such a blessing!

Playing the Organ
Devon took the kids to the church so Kaitlyn could practice the organ for church. They all enjoyed having a turn.
Painting
I heard the kids helped paint Devon and Katie’s house. I only got pictures of Kaitlyn painting, so maybe she did it all! She even ate dinner up there painting!
Hanging with Cousins

They drove back on Saturday and then Sunday we went to seminary graduation all afternoon and evening. Thomas is my 5th child to graduate from 4 year early morning seminary. It earned him a scholarship to SVU and definitely an accomplishment for a teenager to go to a Bible study class before school. I’m proud of all of them.
