A great week with the girls returning home after being in Utah for 3 weeks. Lori came up for Easter weekend and helped us plant the garden and celebrate Easter with us.
We spent 2 days with Lori in Charlotte and then picked the girls up at the airport.
Kaitlyn celebrated her birthday in Utah with siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Her biggest party ever! So we just had a little party here for her. Her present is getting silkies in a few weeks, but a fan send us the Dragon videos so I wrapped it up and gave it to her.
Planting the Garden
A fan sent us 325+seed packets so we got to work planting them! Lori helped us and it was a lot of fun. Hopefully most of them come up!
Dyeing Easter Eggs
We saved up our duck eggs the past week and used them to hard boil and dye. The rest of our hen eggs are too brown to dye.
Easter Sunday
Before church the children lined up, went downstairs, and found Easter candy around the living room. After church we ate an easy Easter dinner of egg salad sandwiches. Then wrote in our journals as we do every Sunday. It was a beautiful, wonderful day celebrating Jesus Christ’s resurrection.
