Tuesday: We get high speed internet!! This is life changing for my business. Before we had 8mps. Now we have 1000!! Do you know how good that is? I can now upload videos from home for my YT channel. I can upload and compress pictures for my blog. I can send pictures to my kids in college. I’m hoping even talking on the phone will be better as we only have wifi calling. Before I had to go to town to do those things. My life revolved around when we were going to town and what we could get done for my business there while the kids had rehearsal or a church activity. Now I can truly work from home.

That evening the boys and I cut up a fallen tree in the pig pasture while the girls made us tacos. Then we all ate our favorite dinner to celebrate high speed internet!!

Wednesday

Andy and I did some errands around our “neighborhood.” We stopped and talked to a few different people. We found a guy to come bush hog Blueberry Hill. We saw the bee man waving to us so we stopped and saw his bees and bought his honey. So good! We stopped at the lawnmower fixer’s and got our wagon wheel fixed. We also went to the bookmobile and post office to collect our fan mail. It was a really fun afternoon with Andy Man.

Friday: Bush Hogging and Driveway Work

While the bush hogger was here we worked along the driveway cutting up a down tree, picking up sticks, trimming under fences, and hauling wood back home. We worked for a full 2 hours and felt really good about our work.

Sunday: Andy Surgeon Man

Saturday we worked for 2 hours on Blueberry Hill, cutting wild blackberries and vines and thorn trees out of the blueberries. The sister missionaries came and helped and it was a lot of fun talking to them while they helped. I’m used to Spencer, Maddie or Thomas helping so we were grateful for the extra hands. I had a piece of thorn stuck in my finger so Andy, who loves to get out splinters, eagerly got out his utensils and got it out.
