This was a pretty easy week with lots of school during the day, a few jobs, and rehearsals for Christmas Carol in the evenings. Here are the pictures we took as well as the vlog link.

Monday:

Walking home from the mailbox with Tilly. It was so foggy and magical with her skipping alongside me.

Wednesday: Singing at the nursing home

Thursday: Finishing the wood stacking job

We finally got back to our friend’s house who hired us to stack their wood. They have finished splitting it and Kenna, Sam and I got it all stacked. Now they’re ready for winter.

Friday: Stringing Lights

We’re also finally getting lights put up on our house. It has been so cold since Thanksgiving and we’ve been busy with jobs and performances. It was great to have this day home and warm and dry to get a lot of projects done around the farm. (See the vlog.)

Canadian Dinners

We enjoyed learning about Canada this week for school. The kids loved learning about the daredevil who crossed Niagara Falls on a tightrope cooking breakfast. And the one who went over in a barrel and later slipped on an orange peel and died. For dinners we made tourtiere one night and poutine the other.
