Egg season!

I love this time of year when our hens are producing like crazy. So many different colors and sizes. The bottom pictures show biggest to smallest: turkey, duck, then on down through the hens to get to the littlest Bantam Cochin egg. The last picture shows the vast difference between turkey, duck and Bantam Cochin.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!

Every St. Patrick’s Day just about the kids wear rainbow colors and stack up to look like a rainbow. Here is this year’s stack up picture with 5 kids as well as the stack up picture 10 years ago with 9 kids. Sam and Andy were the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Storm A-brewin’

One day we got a fun spring thunderstorm. Before it hit us it was so fun to look at the clouds and feel the electricity in the air. We all ran laps around the house until the rain started. And once it started it poured! Check out the vlog to see who gets stuck in the rain. And see the tornado warning we get.

Descendants Play

The kids have been practicing the Descendants play with each other and with their dolls. They had the entire script memorized and were able to understudy for some parts when the leads weren’t there. Thomas and I watched it Friday night and loved it. I’m not a huge Disney fan but the play was very well done and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Besides, 5 of my favorite actors and actresses were in it! Plus their talented friends.
