A Cold Rainy Day
One rainy day I enjoyed watching the fog float away. I also watched squirrels, a pilated woodpecker, and wild turkeys run around our yard. (See the video.) We had a hot meal of tortellini soup Makenna made. The kids quietly did their school work and we did some extra since it was so wet outside.
A Hot Sunny Day
Two days after the rainy day, it was a hot, sunny day. The kids enjoyed making nests with pruned grapevines. Kaitlyn sat outside and wrote a letter. She also took pictures of roosters we’re getting rid of and one hopped on her shoulder, asking not to be given away. The 3 little kids played a game of soccer together.
Two random photos: pruning the grapes with Lori, who came up for a couple of days. I loved the sky and shadows. It was a beautiful night! Another night while 4 kids were at rehearsal, I took Tilly to a skating party. We skated together and had a lot of fun.
