Monday: First Snow
Kids love watching it come down!
Starting to stick!
Talea’s ready to play in the snow. Anderson makes a little snowman and then a chicken came along and ate one of the raisin eyes!
Ducks are enjoying the snow.
I love walking by the playroom and watching it snow out the huge windows. It’s also fun to see new readers every time I walk by who are also enjoying the snowy scene and a cozy place to read by the fire. Warm fire and snowflakes falling. What more could you ask for?
Hot chocolate!!
- Get your milk
- Add a scoop or two of cocoa and sugar
- Shake it up
- Pour into a mug
- Drink it!
- Delicious!
Here’s my post with slightly better recipe directions on it.
What a great snow day!
It snowed all day but we only got 1/2″ in places and a dusting in others. Still, it canceled school around here for the rest of the week, so that was exciting (although we don’t go to school.)
Tap Dance Show
It was a really cold week so we did school in the morning, did an hour of farm chores and running around the yard after lunch, then hung out inside mostly the rest of the afternoon. Talea loved wearing her tap shoes every day and one day Talea and Makenna put on a tap dance show.
