We got our Christmas tree one day and the next day it snowed!! It definitely looks and feels like Christmas now!
Tuesday : Oven nachos
The kids had dinner at 3 to go to town for service and rehearsal so I made them some oven nachos for a snack when they got home at 9pm. We topped them with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.
Thursday: Getting the Christmas tree!
Thomas took Makenna to a dentist appointment and stopped and got us a tree on the way home to save us a trip to the farm. Usually we cut it down ourselves but the farm also has a place in town where they put their already cut ones, so he grabbed one of those.
Friday: First snow!
We got our first snow that stuck this season. The kids played in it all morning and made 4 good snowmen but I never took any pictures. Guess you’ll have to see the video!
We also got a new microwave that day! A very nice subscriber to my channel bought it for us. Also, Kaitlyn finished crocheting this beautiful hummingbird for someone who custom ordered it. She makes up how to make something and does a phenomenal job.
Saturday
We woke to a beautiful sunrise over the frosted ground. Later in the afternoon while working outside I looked up and felt so grateful for our property and house and being able to live here.
