Last Sunday
Kaitlyn got a special blessing from a patriarch. Just like in the Bible, we believe patriarchs receive revelation from God that can help us make good choices. I’m so proud of Kaitlyn for already making good choices, always happy and smiling, serving others, developing her talents, and staying close to Heavenly Father who loves all His children.
We also babysat 2 sweet kids. The baby was sick so Madalyn held her while we played Apples to Apples and enjoyed a wonderful Sunday evening. Good food (popcorn and homemade granola bars), family, and fun!
Also, Tilly pulled out her 2nd tooth!

The rest are photos taken when I wanted to capture our every day sweet moments and remember them.
Kaitlyn and Madalyn playing their flutes together.
Thomas soaking in the sun in the warm playroom while reading a good book.
Madalyn and Talea hugging and hanging out together, talking.
Anderson had made Hawaiian Haystacks for dinner. He was afraid people would walk by and snatch some food out of the bowls while he was in the bathroom so he made a sign.
Speaking of Anderson, one day for lunch he made everyone an organic chicken sandwich. The family loved it. Usually lunch is leftovers. At rehearsal this week the kids got mics and 5 of the kids got one–everyone but Tilly. It’s special when you have enough lines to get a mic. Andy felt bad for Tilly so he made her one out of paper. It even had a mic box on the back of her neck.
Farm Chores
One day the missionaries came over to learn about our farm. They got to milk Maisy, gather eggs, water the cow, and weed the garden.
Other pictures: Feeding Maisy hay for the first time. Now that it’s cold and the grass is dead I figured I should supplement with hay. She loved it! The blueberry bushes are so beautiful still red in December. One day we got out all our garden produce we’ve collected in the freezer and tallied it up. Of course we’ve used some this fall, particularly the food we collected at the beginning of the summer, but it’s still fun to count. I worked at a bakery a lot this summer and neglected the garden a bit so I wish we’d gotten more, but there’s always next year! I love the bag of chopped rainbow peppers. I love having the deep freezer full of garden produce so anytime we want to make a soup or chili or smoothie we can grab a bag out and throw it in. I keep the record of our garden in my garden notebook.
